What Is The Youth Auction?

May 9, 2008 - 6:30 pm

The Calvary Youth Auction is a fund-raiser for the Youth Ministry of Calvary Church. It is an adult evening out where participants can bid on hundreds of auction items, watch a line-up of great entertainment, and enjoy delicious food while experiencing community with friends.

The Auction consists of a silent auction for the first part of the evening. The second part of the evening is the oral auction. Hors d' oeuvres are served throughout the evening. The gym at Calvary is transformed into an elegant banquet hall for the oral auction. Hundreds of auction items are on display in the Atrium for the silent auction.

The funds raised from the Youth Auction help make Youth Ministry possible. Among the many things the Auction supports are the following:

  • Summer & Winter Camp prices are greatly reduced.
  • Students are given opportunities to go on missions trips.
  • Vital equipment is purchased for all of the regular weekly programming of the Youth Ministry.
  • People in the community are served by the Youth of Calvary.

The Youth Auction is the only fundraiser that Calvary Church allows and is essential to impact Calvary's Youth, and the Youth of St. Charles County.

You'll want to purhcase your tickets as soon as possible since the Auction sells out every year.

If you have questions about the Youth Auction, please feel free to contact Brian Bennett at (636) 939-4343, ext. 1127 or bbennett@calvaryonline.cc
